help! hldj lagging horribly!

im confused. i was playing hldj with no prob at all and one day i wake up get on my comp in the afternoon and it stops playing every 2 seconds and continues i was getting frustrated from it because it was going on every day so i thought maybe its my computer, so i disc clean and i did everything, then i thought it was my connection, so i switched it and nothing changed so when i play my hldj it makes my ping go up to like 300 and if im lucky 200!, so i cant find out what! please help me!

Set net_graph to 3 and check or adjust your network rates (rate, cl_cmdrate, cl_updaterate and so on); look out for choke and loss. If you're not sure what any of this is, google up a network cvar tweaking tutorial for your game/engine.
