Toggle is working but no sound?

I downloaded hldj today and set it all up according to the manual but when i got to a server the mic works, when i select a song it loads, but no sound.
1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you?: Yes
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)?: Yes
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?: Seems to work they way they should
4) After loading a song, perform a search in your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up? where?: in the counter-strike: source folder
5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up the appropriate options in your OS and the game? Yes.

Everything seems to be working fine - ensure the server you are playing on has not disabled broadcasting music through the mic (see the sticky for more info), or even better, try testing on your own local server and report the results.

well, other people were playing music so i am assuming so...

Then it's likely a conversion problem. Make sure you are testing with one of the sample audio files.
