No sound.

Hi! The problem I'm having is 'I guess' similair to others.

In my own personal created TF2 games, I press my play key, And the sound file i selected plays fine. (Files are also correct format)
However in any online servers, Pressing the play key will result in no sound.

I am running Vista, I am running HLDJ Version 1.5.0, TF2's ingame Microphone Output/Input settings are enabled.

Explain why it would be working on a personal created server, and not online. (Yes, i have tried 10+ Different servers, It's not something as simple as 'Voicechat Disabled Maybe.')

Tried and Asked, but no.

Even if it's an online server where I'm by myself, i can't hear it.

It's stated in several places including this forum's sticky: TF2 and various other Source games will have a server-side setting (sv_allowvoiceinputformfile) that enables/disables music over voice chat. If it works on your server and nowhere else (assuming no one else is able to play music either) then the server has likely disabled this feature.

Do alot of TF2 Servers usually have that setting?
I just tried it on a few L4D2 Servers and all of them worked.

No idea, but I'd assume that as more server admins catch on, it will become more common.
