Uninstalling HLDJ and Mic Issues

When I installed HLDJ randomly when I go to talk, everyone hears nothing but static. I've deleted the program, uninstalled and reinstalled my headset drivers and have reconfigured my OS audio multiple times but still nothing works. My microphone will work for a few seconds, then static, then work. My headset is a SteelSeries 5Hv2 with USB soundcard. Are there files I need to find and delete that HLDJ installed? Really no clue what to do now, any help is appreciated.

To uninstall HLDJ simply delete its folder. You can also check the game's directory for any leftover "hldj_" files just in case. Nothing HLDJ related would cause the problems you describe though; if your mic works intermittently then it's likely a problem with your microphone/drivers.

Yes you were correct, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything but that was the problem. Had to reinstall the drivers a few times, dunno why but finally got it to work. Appreciate the help.
