hldj wont play music for me

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you?
yes
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)?
yes, except the usual "sv_cheats" message, thats cause of a mod i think
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?
nothing
4) After loading one of the sample audio files, perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up, and if so, where?
no, tried that to that didnt help having it with my audio
5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your OS and/or the game?
yes, my mic works fine

well it loads perfectly but when i press the play button or put in the console commands nothing works, and yes i tried it in servers that allow micspam

If "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appears then the game should recognize HLDJ commands. If absolutely nothing comes up in console after entering HLDJ commands such as la, hldjca, hldjn, etc, then the game could be corrupt, try re-installing it. (A less likely scenario is if you have other scripts that may override HLDJ commands.)
