Hldj play key wont work

My friend set up everything for hldj converted everything and loaded it in game. I can pick the song i want and it loads correctly but when i try to press my play key nothing happens. I have switched it a couple times thinking it might be binded somewhere else but it just wont start the song. Any ideas why this might be happening?
