So, I can't get HLDJ to work for TF2 (didn't check it on other games). The console shows as if everything is fine, but nothing when I hit the selected play key (KP_UPARROW), nothing happens. No sound nor a voice notification. I've tried on many micspam-friendly servers, as well as a server made through Create Server.
1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you?: Yes
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)?: Yes
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?: Loaded: sample_src Host_WriteConfiguration: Wrote cfg/hldj_cmd_b.cfg
4) After loading a song, perform a search in your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up? where?: No
5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up the appropriate options in your OS and the game? Don't have a mic, and the options seem to be correct
Regarding "wrote cfg/hldj_cmd_b.cfg". looking through my cfg folder under team fortress 2/tf, I don't see that. Is it part of the problem?

Just gonna. Edit this post over and over again
Re: HLDJ Won't Work
No, hldj_cmd_b.cfg should not appear, but voice_input.wav should. Try loading a different directory (i.e. enter 2 to go up a level), does the audio list update itself? Also, what version of HLDJ are you using?
Re: HLDJ Won't Work
I'm using 1.60a4. And to be honest, I don't know what you mean by loading a different directory. :<Renegade wrote:No, hldj_cmd_b.cfg should not appear, but voice_input.wav should. Re: HLDJ Won't Work
Since your answer to #4 was no, you might be experiencing the problem here: http://hldj.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=739
Try updating to the latest 1.6.0a6: http://hldj.org/downloads.html
Also, by loading a different directory, I mean navigating your files from within the console. For example, entering 2 will usually take you up a level, from there you can browse further and the audio list should update itself each time.
