I have issue with 3x speed up of audio playback in tf2 (never tried other games). I read the forum and saw that dual core processors has this issue. But I have quad core Intel, how do I resolve this?
p.s. audio files was converted correctly, i play them in wmp and get normal speed.

Re: Infernal Speed-up
Try the sample audio files or the built-in audio converter.
Re: Infernal Speed-up
I was converting files via built-in converter. Ill try samples now.
Re: Infernal Speed-up
Okay... the sample files playback is fine. Should I reconvert all files using audacity?

Re: Infernal Speed-up
Although audacity is recommended for fine-detailing, the converter should work fine for general use. If it's the convert that produced the sped-up files then you probably converted with the incorrect engine setting. You should double check it is set for the game you intend to use before starting the conversion.
Re: Infernal Speed-up
Settings of built-in converter seems fine (dont see many of them). But again, I can wmp converted files and the playback is fine, so maybe its hldj problem.
But wait, when Im changing hrz rate to 11025 in audacity, the sound file gets trasformed into some kind of corrupted mess. Here: http://www.toofiles.com/en/oip/audios/w ... sters.html - it must be much faster then it is. While putting this in game, nothing changes (possibly it goes even slower).
So I dont know what's wrong.
