HLDj will not play

hello guys i need a bit of help i cant seem too get hldj too work i can get get the songs to load but not pay

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you? yes
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)? no

HLDJ loaded - some files could not be written ( 1 error ) !
Quick-Start Guide:
1 ) enter 'la' to display the audio list.
2 ) enter the number of the file to load.
3 ) press the END key to start/stop audio.

Basic Commands:
hldjn, hldjp, hldjr - loads the next/previous/random audio file.
hldjca, hldjcd - displays the current audio file/directory in console.
hldjsca, hldjstca - displays the current audio file in public/team chat.
hldjsq, hldjqa - stops HLDJ and quits the current game/quits both.

i know its that 1 error but i cant seem too fix it i followed the guild and every thing i even went on youtube and still got nothing if u guys would please help me it would nice because hlss does not work for me

It's not likely due to that one error, read the sticky, test with the sample audio on your own server, and provide all diagnostics.

(the error is likely from a file conflict, which might happen if multiple versions of HLDJ are started. You can remove it by deleting all "hldj_" files from your game's directory).

HLDJ successfully loaded!
Quick-Start Guide:

but i can not get it too play i have the wav files formatted and everything.

i type in la and get my song list, i then type the number in it says song loaded
i go into game and press(f5) and nothing i dont even get the mic thing . are u spose 2 bind the hldj key 2 your mic key ?

The play audio key doesn't need to be the same key as your voice key. And please, read the sticky. The whole sticky. Follow all the steps and post the results of each.

If you are still experiencing problems, please include the following diagnostics in your help request:
1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you? yes

2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)? yes

3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"? ] 3

4) After loading one of the sample audio files, perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up, and if so, where? dont know what they are asking here

5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game? i dont not have a mic so i have never set upi the mic setings

i can get the wav file too load but when i press my key it will not play i dont get a mic icon beside my name.

#4. Start HLDJ and your game, load one of the sample audio files; switch to your desktop and open an explorer window to your Steam directory. Start a search for the mentioned file, and take note of its location or if it exists.

#5. If you haven't already, you may need to configure the recording options for your operating system and the game (to be found in Control Panel -> Sound -> Recording, and Options -> Voice, respectively), or plug in a microphone at least once.
