.wav files from steam not working

well i got these wav files from some mod.
i placed it into the hldj audio directory folder and everything loads up fine
when i try to actually play those wav files over the mic, they dont work. its a bunch of static and very very slow.
the files that i converted from (blank) to .wav files work though..
any idea how to fix it?

It's not enough that they're .wav files, they need to be properly formatted .wav files. Read the sticky.

under which board would this sticky be found?
and sticky as in the "announcements"?
cause see not one thread that is "stickied"
they just have icons like "no new posts" , "new posts" , "moved topic"

See near the top of the screen? That giant red bar? The one that reads "Forum Rules - Read this before posting in this section". Here's a link in case you still don't see it. As for sticky icons, all the stickied topics have exclamation points (!) in their icons.
