Hello.
I was just wondering if it was possible for specific servers to counter HLdj somehow. I'm able to broadcast a specific piece of audio on 3 different servers, but on a specific server that I tried to play it on, it just simply doesn't load. Is it possible for server admins do to this, or is there something wrong with the settings on my computer?
Any help would be much appreciated.
HLdj not playing on specific server. This possible?

Re: HLdj not playing on specific server. This possible?
From the sticky: "For some Source games, such as Team Fortress 2 and Garry's Mod, you will need to test on a server that allows playing of audio files, in console: 'sv_allow_voice_from_file 1'." If this command is not enabled on a server, HLDJ does not work. Please read the sticky before future questions.

I read the sticky, but overlooked that. I didn't think it was part of my problem. I had thought that HLdj fed audio through the mic channel, like Stereo Mix, so I wasn't sure if the server could actually control it or not. Thanks for the info!uggron wrote:From the sticky: "For some Source games, such as Team Fortress 2 and Garry's Mod, you will need to test on a server that allows playing of audio files, in console: 'sv_allow_voice_from_file 1'." HLDJ does feed audio through the mic channel, as you said, but unless this option is enabled it is not possible to send audio files through the mic instead of your voice.
