Friggin HLDJ.exe wont launch

Yeah, I'm totally new to this since I was more than happy with HLSS, but unfortunately their site went down and this thing was only popping up. So i decide I'll have to put up with HLDJ, BUT IT WONT LAUNCH. it keeps giving me this "C:\Program Files\HLDJ\hldj.exe is not a valid WIn32 application.

Help please before I go insane?

This is beyond my expertise, so I really don't know what would've went wrong, but make sure you downloaded the correct version at least. (64-bit for 64-bit windows etc.)

Just in case, whats the diff between the 32 and 64? I downloaded the 64 but should i try to download and install the 32 now?

I don't know the details, but the 64-bit version is essentially just faster. However, it won't work unless you're running a 64-bit operating system. You can find out specifics about your operating system (and other things) by running dxdiag on your computer. (Just use the start menu's search bar on Vista/Windows 7 or click Run on earlier windows OS's, although I'm pretty anything before Vista is 32-bit guaranteed) Of course, it'd just be faster to try the 32-bit version of HLDJ.
