HLDJ stopped recogizing HL2MP directory after game update

Read the title.

for no rhyme or reason whatsoever, since HL2DM has updated thru steam, HJDJ no longer recognizes the game directory.

Instead of recognizing the game directory:

steamapps\l2blackbelt\half life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp

HLDJ will only recognize the subfolder:

steamapps\l2blackbelt\half life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\cfg

It identifies this subfolder as a source engine 1 game called cfg, that of course, does not run.


Help would be appreciated.

Check the known game issues sticky about gameinfo.txt missing; you probably need to run the game at least once to regenerate this file after an update.
