Re: HLDJ works then stops!?
Probably a result of disconnecting your microphone, which may have disabled the voice comm system. See the sticky for ways to resolve this.

I checked the sticky and it no help how do I fix this issue
Re: HLDJ works then stops!?
If you really did read the sticky, why did you ignore most of it? You could have at least followed the instructions for giving us information on your problem. For clarification, this sticky: http://hldj.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=21#p21.
Re: HLDJ works then stops!?
thanks you for providing the link I read your sticky again and I think I've foind your problem and as Renegade said earlier it has something to do with unplugging my mike
5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game? *
yes but I unplugged my mike cause it broke
This I believe to be it but I think its set for some earlier verision windows how would I do this with windows 7
* If the answer to #5 was no on both accounts, you may need to configure the recording options for your operating system and the game. These can be found in Control Panel -> Sound -> Recording, and Options -> Voice (respectively).
Some users have also reported that simply plugging in a microphone (or similar connector) at least once will configure these settings for you (on Vista or later).

Re: HLDJ works then stops!?
To find the relevant options in windows 7, open up control panel (find it in the start menu), then find the link that says View by: Category. Click that, and change it to large or small icons. From there, you can find the sound options using the same instructions for older operating systems (Sound -> Recording). Also, note that even if the microphone doesn't work, plugging it into your computer should still trigger the necessary change in settings.
