TF2 Crashes

TF2 loads up correctly at first, till the point where you see the main background (with the medic + others), then it crashes.

I'm using Vista. If that has to do with anything.

Is there a specific setting I have to use?

Any help would be great, thanks =D

edit: I just tried DOD source, and that also failed. I guess all my games don't work =(

is your music in the right format? this is one of the main issues also make sure that your sound card has microphone enabled.
