Help with HLDJ ( Cs 1.6 ).

How can i tell If i'm putting sounds/music already.
(1)Will i be able to hear my music too?
(2) Will my mic icon show up?.

Mine's wont show up, for some reason. i Hit my binded key to play or stop audio, and nothing happens :? . Did i do any mistakes?.
