HLDJ not workin

Hello every one I have a problem with hldj whenever I press my play button my game frezzes and no sounds play

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you?
NO
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)?
yes
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?
yes
4) After loading one of the sample audio files, perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up, and if so, where?

5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game? *

usually a computer reboot fixes this problem but it seems to be happening more and more now and my computer is a pain to reboot it takes too long if some one knows how to fix this please help me

Likely not an HLDJ problem. Make sure you are converting properly, test with the sample audio, and/or try re-installing the game.

I did try that it didn't help and I made sure they are all converted correctly is there a song limit on hldj that would cause it to stop working

There's no real limit to songs in HLDJ, but there can be a limit to how many aliases a game can have at any one time (by default, aliases are used to load songs, you can disable this by disabling Quick Select in advanced setup). Last I checked, this limit was around >500 songs/aliases in the currently loaded directory. But that's likely not your problem, since the game would encounter any limitations on loading the directory, not on playing the song.

I am certain all of my songs are converted correctly and have reistalled the game is there anything elese that would be causeing this problem

I tried several of them after I add the they load perfectly but when I play them they are all fast and cause my computer to freeze this is the same thing that happens with some of my other files is there a way to fix this?
