I used to use HLDJ with no issues whatsoever and had built up a rather large audio folder. Anyway, long story short, one day, all my previously converted songs started to sound dreadful. They played, but the quality seemed less than what it once was and there was a faint, but horrible buzzing noise in the background whenever I played one of them. Now, that buzzing appears in everything I convert, regardless of any edits I make to the volume, bass etc.
I know for a fact that my conversion settings are correct. What the hell's going on? When other people play music, I don't hear this buzzing. I don't understand why using the same conversion settings can suddenly give a different result.

Re: Horrible buzzing noise
Make sure you are testing the sample audio files, or ones converted in HLDJ's converter.
If the problem persists, it could be a setting you've changed in the game related to voice options, or possibly a setting on the server (if it's an HL1 game). Try setting your voice options back to defaults, or if you're comfortable with the console, you can browse through your "voice_" cvars (enter "cvarlist voice_") and see if something is not set correctly. Alternatively try re-installing the game.

Not 100% sure on this, but boost microphone gain's stuck on in the TF2 voice options. Thinking this may be causing the static noise. It's not enabled in Windows though, so I don't know why it won't turn off.
