voice_input.wav not found

Hi!
I am using a windows 7 laptop and have tried using both the 32 and 64 bit versions of hldj. I have downloaded the lastest version but when I get in game and press my button, it only plays a delayed echo of my voice. I have searched my steam directory and there was no sign of voice_input.wav. Any Ideas?

ps: tried it in a friends server that had hldj support. My friend even played it from his computer.)

Did you look for the file while the game was running with HLDJ and a song loaded?

Yes I did. To be more specific, I have the problem where if I push the button it only plays my voice after about a second.
