Hi, I've been having trouble getting songs to switch in HLDJ. The game I am using is The Battlegrounds 2. Whenever I try to switch a song mid-game, the console says it loaded the song. However, it still plays the first song I loaded. Even when I removed the song from the \Audio folder, it still played the same song. I eventually traced the problem to a file called "voice_input.wav", which, when I listened to it, was a copy of the first song that I was unable to change from. So, I think the problem has something to do with HLDJ being unable to change "voice_input.wav" I would greatly appreciate a solution to this.
-Thank you.

Re: voice_input.wav Will Not Update
Thank you for responding, but I had already set up HLDJ for a 3rd party mod the way you instructed.
Re: voice_input.wav Will Not Update
Hmm, a couple of questions:
1) Does HLDJ start successfully when the game starts? (i.e. no errors)
2) Do a search for "voice_input.wav" in your Steam directory; how many appear and where?
3) After loading a file through HLDJ, alt+tab out of the game and open up the voice_input.wav, see if it plays the song you were expecting.
4) After stopping HLDJ make sure all files are cleaned up properly in the game's "cfg" folder (i.e. check that all hldj_ files have been removed).
5) What operating system are you using?

Re: voice_input.wav Will Not Update
1. Yes, it starts without errors.
2. I found 2. One in the Half-Life 2: Deathmatch folder, and the Source SDK folder.
3. I tried Alt+Tab(...bing) out of the game like you said. What I found was that the voice_input.wav in the source sdk folder changed (this is the folder that I set for HLDJ to run off of). It changed with the song I selected, but the one in the Half-Life 2: Deathmatch folder (the one it played from) did not change. Perhaps i should try running it off the HL2:DM folder...(sorry if that read in a confusing way).
4. Yes, the files clean up properly.
5. Windows Vista Home Premium
Thanks for your help.
Edit: I tried running it off the HL2:DM folder and now it works! I just want to say that I love HLDJ! It's way better than HLSS! Good luck with your project, Renegade!

Re: voice_input.wav Will Not Update
There's a new one, not many mods use HL2:DM over Source SDK Base to mod from... thanks for letting us know.
