Weird issue? They and me hear tiger noise?

Post by macmudu »

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you? YES
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)? YES
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?

Loaded : 03brag00
] hldj_next
Loaded: 03brag01

4) After loading one of the sample audio files, perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up, and if so, where?
It shows up in the cstrike folder, I play it and it's the sound I chose in console.

5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game? *

Well if I choose for example stereo mix, and then play a song on youtube browser, and press K, they will hear it.

ISSUE: when I play a sound i see at the right side of the screen "macmudu @ bombsite b" with a blue name and that mic sound thing over it. But the sound is weird, it's like a fucked up way from the wave thing. Sounds like a tiger growling, and other say it too.. (but inreality it's duke nukem sounds)

OK i think i know what the problem is, when i play the sound.. it records everything ingame including the sound again.. so it becomes invinite loop and becomes higher and higher

HOW do I fix this?

How can I hear the sound being played, and they too?

The problem might have something to do with stereo mix, but you should check to make sure you converted the songs properly. Try playing the sample songs, or using HLDJ's built in MP3 converter.
