Weird thingy (Conversion related)

So I have gotten ost of Elder scrolls 3 and 4, but the sound in game is crappy for hl1.

Its converted by 8 khz 16 bit mono just like the rest of my 500 or so game music ><

Does anyone know? The default info of the songs are:

441 hz
16 bit
192 kbps
2 STereo

When converted: 8000 hz
16 bit
128 kbps
1 mono

What am I doing wrong? All my other music seemed to convert fine with these settings >.<

Edit: It seems as if the latest version of HLDJ broke all my songs ><, is there a download link to old one

The music was fine ebfore >< Looking for 1.5 or 1.6 A10 (mid 2010 release, or so)

Try another converter, try another server, try the sample audio files. Aside from the built-in audio converter, HLDJ does not affect your audio quality.
