Cannot hear HLDJ Working in-game

I've read thru the sticky:

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you?
Yes

2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)?
Yes

3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?

5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game? *
Voice normally works with a mic.

Im not too sure whats the cause but When I press the play button (f12) it comes up as audio is being played from me but there isnt any sound. Could having my mic plugged in also be a cause?

It could be the server does not permit it. Are you testing on your own server with the values mentioned in the sticky?

Your mic could be the cause, possibly.

Does the server your using HLDJ on allow HLDJ?

Some servers make it so no sound comes out from HLDJ spammers.
