Bug when adding new music while hldj is running and ingame.

Hello,
When i add music to the hldj folder while i'm playing a game, I type la in console and press 2 then go back to the hldj folder.... Hldj crashes, all i have to do is restart it press the play button and hldj works again.

Are you saying your adding your music while the game is running?

Odd, what happens when you enter "1" instead. 1 should refresh/reload the directory contents and display any new songs added (although hitting 2 to go up and then back into the same folder should still work).

edit: can't seem to repro on my setup, does this happen to you every time?

If i just press 1 it does not appear, Pressing 2 just does not work.... This time (I just updated hldj) it does not crash but sill does not work.
I keep on trying to get back to the folder but it goes to others.

Hmm, yes I've seen this one before. If you actually check the file size it's not 1 meg at all, it's just Vista behaving badly. Not all Vista users get this, and some that do can't even use the program at all; the one's I've heard from haven't reported whether they got it working again. I don't use Vista and (and refuse to for reasons like this), but let me know if you get it working and how.

The larger than 1mb message only appears when hldj crashes

i have this same bug too. i already posted in the "help" section but no1 seems to know anything. When i run hldj and press for instance 1, it times me out of the server. but there was 1 thing that i found interesting...

You need to be sure you're seeing the "file size" error before I can consider the same bug as above.
If it's just the file error, you may want to start off by removing all config files from the game directory created by HLDJ (or from the looks of it, any other program you were using). All HLDJ files are prefixed with "hldj_".

If that still doesn't work, make a back-up of the directory somewhere, delete the game and re-install it. See if HLDJ works on the fresh install.
