Not playing converted audio files.

I am having a problem in HLDJ where I cant get any audio files to play correctly. I split the files in audacity, change them to 11025, mono, and 16 bit then export as WAV to my HLDJ audio, but it still wont play. I was able to mic spam successfully about two weeks ago, but now those old files don't play either, and everything I export now has the same problem. When I play the audio clips, it just plays static. I have no idea what to do, can anyone help me out?
