Could not write to settings.hldj

I can't save my settings because of this, which prevents me from using HLDJ. Is there a fix to this? I installed the latest version, if that helps.

Make sure you've unzipped HLDJ. Sometimes it also means you don't have permissions to write to the location, in which case try unzipping it to another location (i.e. your desktop maybe). If you notice that it consistently doesn't work in your "Program Files (x86)" directory, and you are running 64-bit HLDJ, then try the "Program Files" directory instead.
