Hldj , audio loaded, but not playing?

I need some help, because recently i just got Hldj, installed correctly, it loaded, (not sure if there where any errors or not), typed la, selected the the .WAV file, clicked my key
(example d or x) and it doesn't play it
Thing is its also getting very annoying

Can you please fix this, in any way?
Note : this started happening in October, when i saw a few other posts.
