1) Yes it launches fine
2) Yes, no errors
3) Host_WriteConfiguration: Wrote cfg/hldj_cmd_b.cfg
4a) Yes, it's in steamapps/(my steam id)/teamfortress2
4b) It sounds exactly like the file I loaded
4c) The exclamation point appears and my mic activates.
5) Yes
I'm new to hldj but I've searched a lot and haven't found an answer to this.
Ok, the first time I ran hldj everything went perfectly fine, all the files showed up and played perfectly.
The next day I converted some more files into the folder using the built-in converter, now when I use the "la" command it only shows the songs I recently converted, not all of them.
This is in tf2 btw, not sure if it would happen in any other games though
Only some audio shows after entering "la"

Re: Only some audio shows after entering "la"
Some guesses:
- Check the filenames, sometimes odd or non-ASCII characters will cause problems
- Check your audio path, make sure the converter's output directory is set to the audio path you expect
- Search for and open up hldj_listaudio.cfg in a text editor, see if the files are listed in there.
- Try selecting "1" to refresh your audio directory while in game
- Finally, you might try disablilng Steam's cloud service in case it is overwriting your hldj_liastaudio.cfg

Re: Only some audio shows after entering "la"
The file names are all ok
The audio path is good
I can't find that file
Doesn't help
I'll do that once I find hldj_listaudio.cfg
Note: I searched my entire drive and it is not to be found.
Edit: Found it after entering the "la" command
The files are not there
After disabling steam's cloud service nothing changed.

Re: Only some audio shows after entering "la"
WORKAROUND FOUND:
If I put all the original files through the converter again it will have all of them on the list.
Due to the ridiculous need of keeping every single file and re-converting it every time this is only a temporary solution.

Re: Only some audio shows after entering "la"
are your file extensions ".wav"? post a screenshot showing your files and another screenshot showing the output of "la" in console.
also, hldj_listaudio.cfg is generated after starting a game in HLDJ.

Re: Only some audio shows after entering "la"
There's no problem there from what I can see; for the most part all the files listed in your folder show up in your "la" list (except the first one which is probably listed near the bottom)
You might try renaming the files so they're more legible so it's easier for you to see where everything is.
