Need some help with hldj

Alright, i recently got HLDJ ( two days ago to be exact ) and I've installed everything correctly. I go in-game, open up the console, type in la - there are all my songs. I select one - everything's fine. But then i go in-game and i press the audio key i selected and I can't hear any music but i can only hear my voice. I've heard other people have the same problem, while for some other people it works just fine. If anybody has an idea of why this is happening and how to fix this please respond.
