99.9% certain zblock is messing with hldj...

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you?
yes
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)?
yes
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?
the line its supposed to say about successful write to the .cfg or whatever
4) Make your own server and do this stuff:
HLDJ works perfectly on a local server, because a local server doesn't have zblock
5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game?

This is all unnecessary but I put it because when I searched the hldj support forum for "zblock" there was one thread, and the guy has my exact problem, and the only reply was a link to the sticky...
I've used HLDJ on my CSS server in the past ever since I rented it without any problems, last night one of the guys I gave admin to help with it put zblock on it, now when I try to use HLDJ, everything works fine, except the only sound that plays is a "pfffft" sound.

So, my question is, is there a workaround for zblock, or do I need to remove it?

I don't know what it is, but if it's a plugin that blocks scripts or certain aliases, then it could be causing the problem. Although more likely, 99.9% of the problems here are caused by incorrect settings for the 2 server-side cvars mentioned in the sticky.

I figured it out, when zblock is running in warmode, it sets play voice from file cvar to 0 automatically, was able to get it to work by disabling zblock.
