Music playback is really sloooowwww
Everything works, it's just that the music is really slow. Anyway to fix this? And also, now it's giving me an "unknown command" error. Any help with either?
Re: Music playback is really sloooowwww
i am having the same problem, when i set the MHZ to 11025 or whatever it is to play music in garrys mod, i edit the song in audacity to make it 11025 and the music playback is so slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. This goes for every song i try to do. Can some one help us plz?

In Audacity, frequency must be set from the "Project Rate" drop-down box (http://hldj.org/manual/images/convert_audio_format.gif).
Which command is "unknown"? Make sure HLDJ is displayed as loaded correctly in console on start-up.

I figured out the problem. If you download Goldwave, go to file then click on batch processing and select the song/songs and then go over to process in the same window. Click on Add Effect... then +goldwave to bring down the selections and then click +equalizer and add reduce bass. Then go back over to convert, click convert files to this format, so that it is checked. Select .wav format, then click PMC signed 16 bit, mono. Then click rate to 11025, that should make it work. If you need anymore info, or help let me know. I have some experience with goldwave so, yeah just ask.

I, unfortunately, am having a different problem. Not so much different, as it is the opposite. My song is playing double, perhaps triple the speed it should be. Why is this? Now, don't go and say, "Well, you converted it wrong", cause I didn't. It's converted the way it should be, I tried countless different things in Goldwave to fix it, and it is still playing too fast. It's starting to get on my nerves, because this same thing happened when I tried to use HLSS. I'm not sure if it's HLDJ's fault, or what, but either way, is isn't working like it should be. If it was going too slow, that's an easy fix, but it's just the opposite.Music playback is really sloooowwww

+1. This is exactly my issue, Artist_X. Any way to slow down the sounds? I'm using a dual core P4 if it makes a difference. I've read some stuff about affinity on AMD systems, but I'm not using an AMD processor.Artist_X wrote:I, unfortunately, am having a different problem. Not so much different, as it is the opposite.
