Crashed when played

Well, HLDJ crashes every time I hit the play icon. I do not have IE8 and have already read the sticky. Someone kindly tell me how to fix this.

Which version are you using? Does it happen on both the current build and latest release version?
You can also try this pre-release version: http://hldj.org/hldj_1.4.11.exe (though not likely to fix it)

Is there anything peculiar or of interest about your system or its setup? i.e. OS, updates, software, anti-virus, users, drivers, hardware, etc.?
Also, try deleting any HLDJ files from your game folder.

I am currently using the latest version, not the build. Would it be a good idea to download the build?

For other, non-crash-related reasons, yes (it's got a bunch of updates/fixes), but unfortunately i don't think it will address the crashing (even still, it's easy/quick to try).
Also, if it's possible try HLDJ on another computer.

I downloaded the build and it worked for a while until it started crashing everytime I hit play. Dang... I hate having crapware. x.x

I can't play it on another computer because this is the only one I have. :\

What is your OS? Does it also occur when you enter setup? Other than the IE8Beta, I can't imagine what it is.

I don't understand the term OS. But it doesn't occur when I go into setup, only when I press play.

Operating System (it seems like you have like VIsta?).
When I get the time I can maybe look at your crash dump file: Look in your "C:\Windows\Minidump" (or search for "Minidump") and attach/send me the .dmp files located there.
