Source Mod static general failure

So HLDJ works perfectly fine with songs I have converted before.
The problem now is, I've done some recordings etc and everything works when I play it with Itunes or WMplayer.
The files itself are .wav .
When I load them everything loads fine, but when I want to play it nothing comes out except a very low noise/static when sound/voice should be.

How to fix?

Read the sticky and recent announcements on the forum and main website for info on the update to see if that is affecting you.

None of those. Still doesnt work, had to reconvert do mp3 with goldwave and then convert to wav with hldj converter.
Quality went back loads!

See the converting tutorial in the sticky on how to convert properly with Audacity, or use the hldj converter. If you're using Audacity or other editors make sure you remove ID3/meta data as well.
