HLDJ won't work.

Well i tried many things i did everything i was suppose to but when i went to play the music nothing.... So i read some other posts and tried renaming a wav file an putting it in the derectory still nothing. then i though maybe i had to convert them myself (i downloaded the wavs at the start) so i used Db power amp and converted them and tried again still nothing. when i tell it to load in the console it says it loaded it but when i try to press F1 or F3 (i tried alot of diffrent keys F1-12) but still nothing please help. Oh and i am also using a 32 bit windows vista.

OK i read them here are the answers:
1. Yes
2. not sure it says after the basic commands: Can't use cheat cvar fog_start in multiplayer, unless the server has sv_cheats set to 1.
Can't use cheat cvar fog_end in multiplayer, unless the server has sv_cheats set to 1.
Can't use cheat cvar fog_startskybox in multiplayer, unless the server has sv_cheats set to 1.
Can't use cheat cvar fog_endskybox in multiplayer, unless the server has sv_cheats set to 1.
Can't use cheat cvar r_farz in multiplayer, unless the server has sv_cheats set to 1.
3. after i select a song it says: Host_Write Config Loaded: "name of the song".
4. i looked in my steam folder and didn't find it.
5. i don't have a mic. and i am not sure how to set up these "applicable options"
