HLDJ do not play anything at all...

Hello,

I used HLDJ for a few years now and basically never had any porblem. But since yesterday, i was playing tf2 on a server where HLDJ is on and after i picked a song from the console, i hit F1 as it is my default key. But nothing happends at all, no micro icon or any sounds. I tried changing the key to F2, still not working. I tried in different games, same problem. Today i completely uninstalled my HLDJ and Backed up my Audio. After i reinstalled and set up a new HLDJ. It keeps doing the same problem, i don't know what to do please help me!

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you?

Yes.

2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)?

Yes.

3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?

Host_WriteConfiguration: Wrote cfg/hldj_cmd_b.cfg

4) After creating your own local server and enabling playing of audio files:

Its not a server problem, the server where i play on everyone is capable of playing hldj except me.

4-a) Load one of the sample audio files and perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up, and if so, where?

Yes. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\username\team fortress 2

4-b) If it exists, open it in an audio player: does it sound like the audio file you loaded?

Yes.

4-c) If it exists, return to the game, and enter the following into console:
Code: Select all
voice_inputfromfile 1; voice_loopback 1; voice_forcemicrecord 0; voice_modenable 1; voice_enable 1; +voicerecord
Does the audio file start to play?

No.

5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game?

Like I said before, it used to work perfectly, now it's not working at all for several weeks.

make sure you're testing on your own server with HLDJ enabled on it, and check that your recording settings are setup correctly in the game and your operating system. you might also try re-installing the game.

how exactly do u mean with "a server that has HLDJ enabled on it"
-is there a specific command to enabled HLDJ or is it something else?

because i cant get HLDJ to work at all. even tryed in a random match with bots and on my temp. server to test HLDJ.
I think HLDJ supports only certain audio drivers on PC, because, i had the same problems with HLSS. than i downloaded the "realtek high definition audio driver" and it worked fine.
With HLDJ its not the same.

I'm 100% sure that my settings in HLDJ and in-game are correct. have checked houndred times.
are there any HLDJ system requiemenents?
