Song replaces the others

Post by cuakman21 »

Hi,
when I start TF2 (team fortress 2), it shows in console that HLDJ loaded with no problems, when I enter a server, I select a song and it gets replaced by another.
Example: I select song 1 and it plays song 2, then I select song 3 and it plays song 2. and so on.
How can I fix this?
thnx

1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you? yes
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)? yes
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?
Host_WriteConfiguration: Wrote cfg/hldj_cmd_d.cfg
4) After creating your own local server and enabling playing of audio files:
4-a) Load one of the sample audio files and perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up? no, the file doesnt show up
5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your operating system and/or the game? voice works fine

If anything plays at all, then voice_input.wav should be there. Try entering "1" to reload the current directory. Post the contents of your hldj_quickselect.cfg and hldj_listaudio.cfg files.
Finally if the actual files are replacing each other (i.e. the original file #1 is overwritten by file #2), have a look at this topic: http://hldj.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1140
