Console Commands not working

Hello, I have a problem with hldj, I installed it, set up my audio files correctly, and launched Tf2, but when I open the console I cannot seem to access my files, in fact, the commands aren't even recognized, I have set everything up correctly, re installed and re done everything, but when I tpye in hldjn, hldjp, or la it says unrecognized command. Any fixes?

likely you have the wrong game directory or started the wrong game. you can confirm this by hitting start then searching for 'hldj' in your Steam directory, note in which directory the files show up.
