This is a problem all of my friends with HLDJ have.
I tested the commands with a folder filled with around 7000 sounds. It loads many of the same sounds, and many others haven't been played for once.
When I rename the first sound in the folder to another start letter, it begins to loading new sounds, but still the same new.
One of my friends and I tried picking the exact same folder with the same sounds in it, and play randomized sounds, and we played the exact same sounds. (There was about 500 sounds in that folder)
Can this possibly be fixed? It's like it only randomizes some particular numbers on the list of sounds.
Something's wrong with the commands hldjr and hldj_rand

Re: Something's wrong with the commands hldjr and hldj_rand
The game may not be able to generate more than 500 aliases, so first try loading from a folder with around 100 songs.
hldj_rand just picks a random song from the list of current audio.

Re: Something's wrong with the commands hldjr and hldj_rand
As I said, I tried with a folder with around 500 with my friend and it still loaded the same... It's no matter what folder we choose, if it's 7000 or 50 sounds, doesn't matter.
*Edit*
Also the weird thing about it isn't that it doesn't load all the sounds, but it doesn't randomize them at all. If it loads the exact same numbers as my friends, I don't think it has anything to do with the amount of sounds in the folder.

once you've loaded a folder, the aliases remain in the game, so if size is the issue, make sure you are not loading any of the larger folders at all when testing with the smaller folders.
