XP start up crash

I had hldj on my computer, but it got deleted, on one of my dad's rages to try to fix the computer.

any way, when I put it back on after fixing the damage, every time when I go to set it up to add a game path
by clicking yes on the set up screen or the option in the program it crashes, instantly. that little 'report the error' window pops up.

that is the error I get, and then my not responding window, also not responds and causes a circle of not responding.

I don't really know what it not working. it was working fine before, but now there is a problem.

Check the sticky thread above and make sure you don't have IE8Beta installed.
You may also want to try the current build of HLDJ (1.4.8)

I don't use Internet explorer, and I do have the current.

Did you check if it was installed? Seeing as you have SP3, it likely is, whether you use it or not.
