[PROBLEM] SONGS ARE NOT PLAYING!

Hello there. I am StillZero. I have been usuing HLDJ for a lonnng time. I used it when I had XP. When I had Vista. I recently aquired Windows 7 Beta. I have tried HLSS and HLDJ, but niehter work. My songs are properly converted. I have the right directories. THere are no errors, I can run the la list. I just.. can't.. play.. the music!

Check that voice_input.wav is being created in the right location (one level up from your game folder, for Source games).
If not, make sure you are running as adminstrator. If so, make sure voice & mic are setup correctly for the game.

Yes it is all correct. How do I know if my mic is set up right? I don't have a mic.

I'd imagine ti'd be a familiar process to either XP or Vista, though I can't say for sure. Check that voice is enabled in the game options at least.

It is. I'm trying to run as administrator as we speak.

Have you setup voice/mic correctly in the game's options?
If so, try the following:
1) copy one of your songs and rename it to "voice_input.wav" and place it in the correct location mentioned above
2) start your game, create a server
3) enter: "voice_forcemicrecord 0; voice_inputfromfile 1; voice_loopback 1; +voicerecord"
into console.
Does your audio file start playing?

other than that... try the 1.5.0 beta; it's not likely to change much, but it's an improvement either way.

I am having this exact problem too :/ I set it up properly as you have done, I haven't any idea what could be amiss.
If you figure out a solution, I hope you post it here!
