Alright, so I've set everything up as according to the instructions. All goes well, the console works, everything loads correctly, voice_input.wav is there, and the bind is set, but when I press the key, the microphone symbol doesnt come up, nothing happens as if there were no bind, I am running Windows XP SP3 and the game I'm using is TeamFortress 2, I'm currently trying some of the fixes that I've found around the site, any additional help is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
EDIT: My apologises, let me provide more details, some other binds, like the one that displays the current track loaded, will work, so basically, everything but the play/stop bind works, oddly.
Everything goes well, but it's as if there's no bind.

If your mic normally works fine, then it's likely the audio file is improperly converted, have you tried playing the sample wav from the sticky and converting according to the tutorial listed in there?
If you have not used your mic or voicecomm yet, make sure voicecomm/mic/recording options, etc. are setup properly in your game and operating system.

Please elaborate, I have this same problem, and I'm not very technical.
