Hldj Still doesnt work with gmod or something?

yesterday i tried to use hldj u know some funny sounds cuz well idk why people have annoying sounds but i press the song i want i press f2 thats what i have to play it and nothing happens except that i can see my mic thing on the bottom right but theres no sound. do i have to get an admin or someone to put sv_allow_voice_input_from_file 1 because i can do the la then the # of the audio but no sound when it plays

Please use proper capitalization and sentences. From what I could gather, yes you'll need to play on a server with that cvar enabled in order to be able to play sounds. If it's not a server you control, you can ask the server admin to enable it, but ultimately it is up to their discretion.
