Hey guys,
1) Does HLDJ launch the game correctly for you?
Yes states it has launched correctly
2) Does "HLDJ Loaded Successfully" appear in console on starting the game (with no errors)?
No errors. Console does state some stuff about cv_cheats disabled.
3) What is the console output after selecting a song, or issuing other HLDJ commands such as "hldj_next"?
Output is crazy sounds like my pc is haunted by an opera singer. hldj 'plays' next song when using the command. Just a different version of those 'sounds'
4) After loading one of the sample audio files, perform a search of your Steam directory (without stopping HLDJ) for the file "voice_input.wav" - does it show up, and if so, where?
Searched computer fully for voice_input.wav It only linked me to the readme instruction file provided.
5) Does voice normally work for you? If not, or you do not have a mic, have you remembered to set up any applicable options in your OS and/or the game?
I have a g35 headset. I can normally talk and communicate. However when i attempt to play the sound the stop and then try talk via headset no one can hear me.

Thanks in advance.

3 - not the audio output, the console output - i.e. does "Loaded: <filename>..." appear in console after entering hldj_next?
4 - only search your Steam directory. If you're sure voice_input is nowhere to be found, establish that HLDJ is responsive:
a) load an audio file, then enter "hldj_curaudio", does the filename match the song you just loaded?
b) try loading a different directory (i.e. enter '2' to go up a level), does the audio list update itself?
If yes to the above, then HLDJ is responsive. You should triple-check that voice_input.wav is not present after loading a song.
if no, then post the paths for your game and audio directory.

Yep,

Yep, found voice_input in the steam directory while hldj is working.

So HLDJ is working fine then. Triple check your audio files, your voice settings, the server settings, re-read the manual, stickies, etc.
