Sounds play with some interference.

Post by Skaruts »

Hello.

I converted some sounds and songs to source hl2dm, but they are still having some weird intereferences. I think I did follow the convertion part of the manual well and it should be ok, I even tried diferent bit rates, Project rates, stereo and mono, and I concluded there's not much choice in them, so they must be ok, since the files play and they play well, except for the interferences.

Any idea of what is doing this?

Edit: I searched the forums but didn't find anything about it. Only ignored the topics titled like "I have a problem", while searching.

Have you read this topic:

I'm not sure what you mean by "interference", if you mean "crackly", "crunchy" or "grungy", it's likely due to clipping, which the above link should help with. Also, sample rate, bits, and channels cannot be altered, they must be set as specified by the manual.
