Unknown command/hldj won't start up on ingame menu

When I open up HLDJ, I press the play button. It opens up TF2 like it should. My sounds are converted properly into wav. files. When the game starts, no console appears. I open it up myself and type "la". It just says "unknown command". Has anyone else ad this problem? I've been trying forever to fix this and so far I have recieved no help. Also, I've heard of a HLDJ audio file. Is that a specific folder that comes with HLDJ? And do I need to put my sounds in there or in my own sound folder?

Make sure your game directory is correct and that you've read at least this: http://hldj.org/manual/getting_started.html

If you still have this problem:
After starting HLDJ, navigate to tf2's "cfg" folder (...\SteamApps\team fortress 2\tf2\cfg) , take a screenshot of the contents and post it here.

here it is. I've followed all the directions yet no console shows up in the menu. And I am still getting that same old "unknown command".

All the HLDJ configs are in place. When you open the console do you see "HLDJ successfully loaded" anywhere in it? If not, try entering "exec hldj_init.cfg".
If that doesn't work, then there is a problem with your game; you'll need to verify the game files or re-install it.

Also, the "voice_input.wav" file should not be there, did you put it there? If not, your game directory is incorrect (this may be the cause: http://www.hldj.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1222#p1222).

Alright thanks. There is most likely something wrong with the game. I'll re install.
